Northstar’s engineers are experienced in evaluation of potential and ongoing scour at inland and tidal locations. Projects have ranged from evaluation of scour at a small tidal bridge with very rapid flow to complex pier scour analysis for large interstate bridges. Our engineers have performed field evaluations of ongoing scour for hundreds of bridges gaining insight into how scour occurs and the hidden signs of scour.
